About
Our Firm
Akustiks was founded in 2001 to serve the needs of performing arts organizations,
museums and educational facilities. The four principals - Paul
Scarbrough, Russ Todd, Chris
Blair, and Anthony
Nittoli - bring a combined total
of 90 years of experience to the firm. In the last several years, two of their recently completely projects - the new hall for the Nashville Symphony and the new recital hall at the Cleveland Institute of Music have opened to critical acclaim. Prior to forming Akustiks,
the partners had been part of the team responsible for some of the major
acoustical successes in the past 10 years, including the recent restoration
of Severance Hall, the renovations to the Kennedy Center Concert Hall,
the new Schuster Center for the Performing Arts and The Experience Music
Project.
