Akustiks is a team of talented and successful professionals who have played central roles in the most striking acoustic design successes of recent years.

Paul Scarbrough brings an architectural background to the firm and is Akustik’s lead designer for the recently completed Nashville Symphony Concert Hall and the new recital hall at the Cleveland Institute of Music. He is currently leading the firm's efforts on the new Las Vegas Performing Arts Center.

Russell Todd has extensive experience in project management and architectural acoustics. He is currently working on the Brooklyn Arena with Gehry Partners, LLP, Cleveland Museum
of Art with Rafael Vinoly Architects and the Theater for a New Audience with H3 Hardy Collaboration Architecture. Prior to forming acoustics, he was project manager for the Experience Music Project, Schuster Performing Arts Center and the Hollywood Bowl renovation, as a Senior Consultant with Jaffe Holden Scarborough Acoustics

Christopher Blair holds Masters degrees in Acoustics from MIT and in Orchestral Conducting from the New England Conservatory.With more than 30 years' experience, Blair was project manager and lead acoustician on the Sala Sao Paolo while a consultat at ARTEK. Currently, he is leading Akustiks’ efforts on a new concert hall for Porto Alegre, Brazil and on Phase II of the Eastman School of Music expansion.

Anthony Nittoli the senior sound system designer who has designed, engineered or installed systems at Lincoln Center, the New Amsterdam and New Victory Theatres and the National Museum of the American Indian.

 
         
Backgrounds in music, acoustics, architecture and engineering provide a multi-disciplinary basis for our work. A wealth of prior experience and knowledge contributes to the design of each new project.
